Seems like I started the year right by playing twice during the first week, and it’s even more than an hour. The highlight would be Day 41 where Quiaps finally played tennis the first time and we ended up playing an hour each instead of the shared one-hour session we planned. Then on the same day in the afternoon, we practiced at the rooftop tennis court in school. I practiced my serves—although there were still faults, I felt good about the practice.
And now, school started again. Hopefully I can update every now and then. I wonder if I should add in my resolutions to give immediate attention to course outputs so they don’t end up avalanching at me during term end. And there are other things to do like course preps, article revisions, manual illustrations…gaaah.
About the stingrays, it belonged to one of my colleague. He donated (his pet) a mother stingray and a baby stingray to the Biology department for preservation. The mother stingray was huge, maybe measuring about 50 inches around its circumference(? – sorry, too lazy to check), while the baby stingray was of saucer size—cute, really.

Preservation = soaking it in formaline?
Yup. I think he did that but his container wasn't big enough that the sides of the sting ray bent. so it's slightly like pringles in shape now. slight.
